After spending time abroad in college, I graduated with the intention to learn more about and connect with the world around me. Fascinated with the beauty in diversity, I moved to Spain and made it a goal to touch down in as many countries as possible. Throughout my experiences traveling and living abroad, I built an appreciation for interconnectedness and the responsibility each one of us has to be kind, understanding, and accepting in order to help shape a better future.
It has been 10 years since I moved back to the states, and I have been fortunate to continue having opportunities to connect and support others on their own unique journeys such as working at a non-profit helping youth obtain access to important resources, working at a health clinic, following an entrepreneurial path in the health food industry, and coaching youth soccer. I continue to find fulfillment in helping others achieve their goals, and this is what I get to do at Five Oceans as well.
I recently started a family of my own, which has re-energized me to evaluate and prioritize what truly adds value to my life. Of course, this includes spending as much time as possible with my family. When I’m not juggling life as a mother and work-from-home assistant, I am usually on the soccer fields coaching, in the kitchen cooking nourishing meals for friends and family, or on the beach in San Diego trying to organize a game of volleyball.
