It’s hard to believe my career in financial services began nearly 25 years ago. At the time, I was working full-time in another industry, but when my oldest daughter was born, I knew I wanted to reshape my work life in a way that better aligned with my role as a mom. I joined a financial advisor who was also a family friend—and who would ultimately become a mentor—and that decision set the course for my career.
What followed was a journey that allowed my professional life to ebb and flow alongside raising my two daughters. Over two decades, I had the opportunity to work in nearly every role within a wealth management firm, ultimately serving as CEO. It was an incredible experience filled with growth, challenge, and opportunity. In 2016, I made the difficult decision to step away in order to focus fully on launching my two teenage daughters into adulthood—a choice that remains one of the most meaningful of my life.
In the years that followed, I stayed connected to the industry through consulting work with Five Oceans Advisors. Today, I’m excited to officially be part of the firm and to contribute to the continued evolution of an exceptional client experience and a strong, purpose-driven culture.
Outside of my financial services work, I have a host of things I love to do but family remains at the center of everything. My husband and I are lucky enough to currently have both of our daughters in the Phoenix area and we cherish being part of their journeys — whether that is family trips to Disneyland or Sunday dinners together. These moments feel especially meaningful as we enter this next phase of being empty nesters.
I love calling Arizona home — from the beautiful weather to the incredible food scene and the community of friends we’ve built here. In my free time, you’ll find me hiking, riding my Peloton, reading, or working out. And while I try to keep things balanced, my not-so-secret guilty pleasure is pop music that’s probably a generation too young for me — proof that part of me will always feel like a teenager at heart.
