Originally from Chicago, I made my way to California to pursue my education in economics at Pomona College, where I discovered my love for the Bay Area. Now, having called San Francisco home for over a decade, I’ve immersed myself in its vibrant culture and community.
My career in financial advising began at a boutique investment management firm in Chicago in 2004 and has since taken several different forms, including attending the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for my MBA, starting my own solo financial advising practice, launching and growing a startup focused on accessible financial planning, and investing in private companies focused on making a positive impact in the world.
Most recently, I have enjoyed combining my expertise in financial advising with over a decade of personal healing work to create a platform for what I term ‘financial healing,’ helping individuals navigate the emotional complexities of money.
After reconnecting with Chris, whom I first met in 2014, joining Five Oceans felt like a natural fit, given our shared perspectives on the financial advising industry and desire to help clients live their best lives across all of their personal five oceans.
Outside of work, I enjoy cold swims in the San Francisco Bay, spending time in nature, and volunteering to support women’s empowerment initiatives. Daily meditation and occasional cacao ceremonies keep me grounded, while my annual trip to Burning Man offers a unique opportunity for self-expression and connection.
